This Russian fairy tale follows the adventures of a young peasant girl as she encounters the evil witch, Baba Yaga. Through courage and kindness, she changes foes to friends as she overcomes her plight.

Notice the life-like visual effects that are created through these skillfully crafted puppets of Hobey Ford. Many of his puppets were created by using a type of foam that was intricately cut and shaped into the face of a puppet, capable of great amounts of emotional expression.
